This is the advice Ogie Alcasid shared with his daughter and his son-in-law.
Leila and Curtismith tied the knot for the second time, and Ogie Alcasid has this piece of advice for the couple.
Leila Alcasid and her husband, singer/rapper Mito Sibal Fabie, known as Curtismith, renewed their love for each other by marrying each other again. This time, the ceremony was held in the Philippines, a milestone that once again shaped another reason that made their 2025 unforgettable.
Leila and Curtismith’s engagement was in 2024, and in May 2025, they wed at Chiswick Woollahra in Sydney, Australia. It was an intimate event that was witnessed by their closest family members, including Leila’s father, Ogie Alcasid, and her stepmother, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid.
This month, they tied the knot again in Antipolo City, Rizal. On social media, they shared a series of heritage-inspired prenup photos from the second time they exchanged vows. The bride wore an off-shoulder silk organza gown by Vania Romoff, while the groom donned a barong with meaningful embroidery.
After their second wedding, OPM icon Ogie Alcasid shared a message for them. In his post, he gave them advice as they started a new life as a married couple. He started with saying “Do not be afraid” and added seven things they should not be afraid to do in their journey.
He advised them not to be afraid to make mistakes to learn, to fail to win, in life because they have each other, to move forward as this is what makes life exciting, to fight for one another because it is going to be worth it, to forgive as this is a secret for a great marriage for him, and to expect that the best is yet to come.
