Coco Martin is not yet giving up on his dream collab with veteran stars
Kapamilya actor-director Coco Martin wanted to work with veteran action stars Lito Lapid, Bong Revilla, Robin Padilla, and Jinggoy Estrada.
Coco is now tagged as the Kapamilya Teleserye King. He has been doing an action-drama series in a primetime slot. The actor-director expressed a desire to work with the legendary action stars in the Philippine entertainment industry.
Before Lito, Bong, Robin, and Jinggoy became politicians, they were known as action stars and had done many movies in the past.

There had been talks that Coco Martin would do a collab with Lito Lapid, Bong Revilla, Robin Padilla, and Jinggoy Estrada. However, it seemed that this would not push through anymore.
Based on the article in Bandera, Lito said that it was regretful that their collaboration would no longer happen. It was because of the ongoing investigation into the flood control issue, in which Jinggoy and Bong were being dragged.
Previously, Lito said that he was saddened by the accusations against his fellow senators, and he hoped that these were not true.
Despite the cancellation of the postponement of their collab, Lito shared that Coco is still not giving up. It was initially planned that the Kapamilya actor-director would direct the project, but it was said that he might find younger cast members for this.

Lito went along with this and joked that he could play the role of a grandfather. “’Yung mga ayaw sumama hayaan natin, kasi po libre ito, wala po kaming bayad du’n. Sama-sama kami sa pelikula, mga datihan, lalong-lalo na kaming mga senador, para may magawa naman kami (para sa industriya),” he shared.
It was also said that the original plan of the group is to create a movie similar to the Hollywood film The Expendables. They intended not to have their talent fees and just donate their money to people behind the scenes, like the stuntmen.
The senator added that it is a good thing that they will set an example to others in the entertainment industry.
