Kakai Bautista Unfiltered: Furious Reaction to Sarah Discaya’s Fear of Being Separated From Family

“Patas si Karma”: Kakai Bautista’s Scathing Message Shakes Social Media

KAKAI BAUTISTA – Actress and singer Kakai Bautista did not hold back as she addressed Sarah Discaya’s tearful confession, sparking intense public debate.

Kakai Bautista spoke out forcefully against contractor Sarah Discaya after Discaya made an emotional appeal expressing her fear of being separated from her family if she ends up behind bars.

During a recent interview, Discaya became emotional as she explained why she does not want to be jailed, citing the condition of her children, all of whom have Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). She also discussed her family’s situation and shared her worries about how her children would cope should she be detained.

“Ayoko, ayoko sana [makulong].. Kasi as everyone knows, my kids they all have ADHD, husband ko nasa Senate tapos ako makukulong. Ang hirap. Ang hirap, hindi ko alam kung paano ‘yong mga anak ko. Hindi ko talaga alam,” saad ni Discaya.

Kakai responded with a fiery message on social media, voicing her outrage over Discaya’s alleged role in questionable flood control projects across different areas of the country. For Kakai, the issue is not merely about personal struggles but about the widespread suffering of Filipinos who have been affected by flooding and failed infrastructure.

“IN*KA! Sampu ng kanu-nunuan mo. Kung MAHAL nyo ang mga ANAK nyo, HINDI KAYO MAGIGING SAKIM. You will be served with what you DESERVE. Deserve ng PAMILYA MO ang BAWAT Galit na meron ang BAWAT Pilipino,” saad ni Kakai sa kaniyang post.

She went on to say that they are prepared to see Discaya face the repercussions of her choices, underscoring her belief that justice will prevail in time.

“Wala kaming LABAN kase di naman maibabalik ang mga ninakaw nyo, PERO PATAS si KARMA. We are excited to WATCH you SUFFER the consequences,” aniya pa.

The issue also prompted a response from Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon, who challenged Discaya’s emphasis on her family while, according to him, failing to acknowledge those harmed by the controversial projects. He pointed out that empathy should likewise be shown to communities that continue to suffer due to flooding and abandoned or nonexistent infrastructure.

“Ang hindi ko lang maintindihan, naaawa siya sa pamilya niya, naaawa siya kung kanino, dapat maaawa din siya doon sa mga taong biniktima nila. ‘Yong mga taong binabaha sa Bulacan, ‘yong mga taong binabaha doon sa Davao Occidental na kailangang-kailangan no’ng eskwelahan doon saka ng mga bahay do’n, ng flood control pero wala silang ginawa. Ghost projects,” saad ni Dizon.

As public reaction continues to intensify, the remarks from Bautista and Dizon highlight the increasing calls for accountability amid allegations involving public funds and failed flood control projects.
