Personal funds will be used as Paolo Duterte seeks travel clearance to 17 countries.
Davao City First District Rep. Paolo Duterte seeks travel clearance to go to 17 countries from December 15, 2025, to February 20, 2026.
In March 2025, the House of Representatives granted the request of Davao City First District Rep. Paolo Duterte to travel to 17 countries. The document read, “As requested, travel clearance is hereby granted to Honorable Rep. Paolo Duterte in connection with his personal trip on March 20 to May 10.”

He went to Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, the United States, Australia, the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium, Italy, and Singapore.
Recently, just before this year ends, he sought another travel clearance again from December 15, 2025, to February 20, 2026. He will accordingly be traveling to 17 countries based on the letter to the Office of House Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy III dated December 1, 2025.
He is planning to go to Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium, Italy, and Singapore.
“Rest assured that the expenses that will be incurred from this trip are from my personal funds alone,” Duterte said in the letter, as he sought approval to virtually attend the House plenary sessions and meetings while he’s abroad.
“In addition, this is also to seek your kind indulgence in allowing this Representation to attend the scheduled plenary sessions and meetings virtually from the aforementioned dates,” he added.

He will be going to the Netherlands, where his father, former President Rodrigo Duterte, has been detained since March, in The Hague. As much as we all know, FPRRD was arrested in March and was detained by the International Criminal Court (ICC) due to crimes against humanity.
