A rumor about Ruby Rodriguez and Tito Sotto circulated
Former Eat Bulaga host Ruby Rodriguez reacted to the malicious rumor about her and Senate President Tito Sotto.
Ruby and Tito Sen had worked together in the longest-running noontime show for many years. Currently, the female celebrity is living in the US. It has been years since she left Eat Bulaga, but her connection to her fellow Dabarkads is still there.
In a recent social media post, based on the article in Abante Entertainment, Ruby addressed an issue being circulated by a vlogger/blogger.
The former TV host slammed the post, insinuating that she had a long-term affair with the Senator. Ruby Rodeiguez said that she will consult her lawyer regarding this matter.
“I’m going to consult my lawyer regarding this matter. This malicious content is harming my family and innocent child. This is too much!” Ruby stressed. The former TV host received support from her friends and social media followers.
“Sampulan mo Ms. Ruby. Napaka-malisyoso, makapag-content lang,” a netizen commented, while the other one said, “Yes this is too much. Sobra na sa fake news.”
Meanwhile, last month, actor Anjo Yllana, who is also a former host of Eat Bulaga, made controversial statements against Sen. Tito Sotto. Anjo alleged that the politician had an extramarital affair. The Senate President has been married to veteran actress Helen Gamboa for several decades. This accusation was denied by Tito Sen. Anjo also had intriguing statements against EB hosts Alan K and Jose Manalo.
Following his intriguing claims through his livestreams against the hosts of the show, a source claimed that the Eat Bulaga management was ready to take necessary steps. Eventually, Anjo said that what he said about the Senate President was just a “bluff.”
