Multi-awarded news anchor Atom Araullo reveals in an interview that he is already in a long-term relationship.
After many years of speculation, news anchor Atom Araullo finally confirmed that he is in a relationship. According to him, it’s been a long time since they got together, and they have already lost count of the years they have been together.
In an interview with Boy Abunda, he was asked if he currently has a girlfriend, and he answered positively. He expressed, “Matagal na. How many years? See—We don’t even count. It’s been a while.”
He did not drop any names, but he confirmed that his girlfriend is also a public figure. The award-winning Kapuso journalist even teased that the people online already know who his girlfriend is.
“She is public. I think people know. People on social media know. They see us often,” he said.
For many years now, Atom and Zen Hernandez have been rumored as a couple; however, they have not confirmed or denied this. Araullo may have recently confirmed that he is in a relationship, but did not specify who this special girl is in his life, except for the hints.
“It’s not like I would keep it a secret. But, at the same time, there’s a nice balance, I think. You keep some things to yourself,” Atom shared.
In the same interview, he was asked about marriage. When asked about wedding plans, Atom said that while it’s normal for couples to think about marriage, he isn’t pressuring himself or setting any specific timeline.
“That’s always in someone’s mind when they’re in a serious relationship. So, definitely, it’s something that you think about. Something that you’re ready for. I’m not setting a deadline or timeline for it,” he said.
