Lady Netizen SlamsFoodpanda Rider Father’s Customer for Refusing to Accept Order Due to its Price
A lady netizen was angered at her father’s Foodpanda customer after the customer refused to accept the order due to its price.
Recently, Dee Vine, a Facebook user, shared her disappointment with the customer who refused to take the order delivered by her Foodpanda rider father. Her post quickly went viral and gathered reactions online.
In her post, she explained that her father had just completed a pickup at a Chowking branch when the customer told him she no longer wanted the food because it was pricey.

Dee pointed out that customers already see the total amount before checking out, so backing out at the last minute is unfair to riders who are simply doing their job.
Once an order is picked up, riders can no longer return it to the store, meaning they have to pay for it themselves. Although the amount wasn’t large, Dee stressed that the impact can be heavy on delivery riders who work hard every day to provide for their families.
The lady netizen reminded the public that riders endure long hours on the road, under the sun or in the rain, just to earn their income.

Many internet users pointed out that sudden cancellations directly affect riders, who often rely on every completed delivery to meet their daily needs.
Dee’s father gave the food to her instead of letting it go to waste, but she shared that the situation still left her heart heavy.
Here is the full post:
“TO THE WOMAN who ordered a meal from Chowking Gaisano, it so happened that my father, a Foodpanda rider, was the one assigned to pick up and deliver your order. When he arrived at your location, you told him, “Kamahal man sina, indi ko nalang pagkuhaon”, Una sa tanan, bal-an mo gd nada kng pila balaydan mo antis mo icheckout imo order.
It may have been easy for you to say that, but please understand that once a rider picks up an order, it is already considered sold and can no longer be returned to the store. My father still had to pay for it out of his own pocket. Actually, indi man gd ni dako nga kantidad pro what if ya b kung sa iban ni nga rider matabo nga gatinguha manlang maka income adlaw2 para sa pamilya niya??
Riders work hard under the heat and rain, and sudden cancellations like this hurt them directly. We hope people remember to be more considerate next time.
Syempre gnhatag nalang ni papa sa akon ang food, pro sakit ya akon buot hihihi”
