Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Claims PH Gov’t Allegedly Lacks Sincerity to Filipinos
SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President declined to give an advice for the Philippine government citing its supposed lack of sincerity to the people.
The massive corruption issues in the government left countless Filipinos disappointed. Several senators, congressmen, and officials of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) were tagged in the supposed multi-billion flood control corruption. The Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) was created to investigate the issue.

The ICI was formed upon the order of Pres. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. However, recently, the President himself was tagged in the supposed multi-billion corruption. Zaldy Co claimed that Marcos Jr. and former Speaker Martin Romualdez allegedly masterminded the P100-billion budget insertion in the 2025 national funds.
Co, a resigned representative of Ako Bicol Partylist, also claimed that Marcos Jr. and Romualdez allegedly pocketed P56-billion kickback all for themselves. Amid the accusations against the President, the Palace stressed that the claims of the former House member was not made under an oath.

Malacañang dared Zaldy Co to return to the Philippines and testify under oath. Palace press officer undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro also claimed that Co allegedly wants the investigation to stop so he tagged the President.

Amid the massive corruption issues surrounding the Philippine government, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte was asked for her advice to the government. However, based on a post of News5 on social media, the Vice President declined to give an advice.
According to Vice Pres. Sara Duterte, the Philippine government allegedly does not show sincerity in its service to the Filipino people. She stressed that she does not anymore want to give an advice for them.

“Ayaw ko nang magpayo sa kanila kasi nakikita naman natin na wala silang sinseridad para sa taong bayan,” the Vice President said based on the post.
Recently, amid the calls for the Chief Executive to step down after his own sister, Senator Imee Marcos, accused him of allegedly using illegal drugs, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte was asked if she is ready to be the president in case Marcos Jr. resigns from his position.
