13-Year-Old Boy Dies After Being Run Over by 10-Wheeler Truck in Tondo
A 13-year-old boy in Tondo, Manila lost his life after being run over by a 10-wheeler truck while playing beside it.
On Tuesday afternoon, November 25, 2025, the young victim, known by the name “Boy,” died on the spot after he was run over by a 10-wheeler truck.
According to reports, the boy suffered severe injuries to his head and body, leaving him no chance of survival. His sudden passing has left the community in deep sadness, especially those who saw him moments before the accident.

The Manila Police District–Traffic Enforcement Unit immediately arrested the truck driver and his helper following the incident. Authorities are now determining the exact circumstances to understand what happened and identify any liabilities.
Initial findings show that the accident occurred around 3 p.m. along Mel Lopez Boulevard in Tondo. The driver had parked the truck on the side of the road due to a mechanical issue. As soon as the vehicle was ready to move again, the driver reportedly did not notice that the boy was still playing near the truck.
The truck hit the child when the driver began to move forward causing him to fall under the vehicle. The massive truck then rolled over him, resulting in his instant death. The incident shook nearby residents who rushed to help but could do nothing to save the young boy.

Authorities continue their investigation to determine whether negligence played a role and what charges may be filed.
