Vice Ganda is sponsoring the educational needs of some students
Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda talked about his personal scholars in a recent interview.
Vice came from a humble beginning. He is open about the simple life he had before entering the entertainment industry. His story was like rags to riches as he is now considered one of the wealthiest celebrities in the Philippines, aside from being one of the top taxpayers.
With his success in life, he did not forget to give back. In a recent interview, he shared that he helped the educational needs of some students. He has his personal scholars, but he does not know who they are.

Based on the article in Bandera, Vice Ganda said that he would have an idea about his scholar because some of them would personally go to It’s Showtime studio to thank him.
“Minsan may darating sa Showtime after, pag commercial o kaya after live. Tapos kakausapin ako, tapos magte-thank you, magpapakita ng certificate or ng diploma. ‘Ah, okay.’ Kasi hindi ko sila personally nami-meet. Ayoko din, kasi ayokong ma-attach,” the comedian-host shared.
Another reason why he did not know the identities of his scholars was that he did not want to have that “sama ng loob” when a certain scholar would not work hard to pass.
“Binigyan mo ng baon. Binigyan mo na ng pang-tuition, lahat ng kailangan, pero hindi pa…so, nakakasama ng loob. So, yun!” he explained.

With this effort that he does for other people, Vice Ganda said that it makes his heart happy because, somehow, he is doing something good for others.
Having his personal scholars was his way of giving back because he was also a scholar of a Japanese woman who sent him to school from Grade 3 to college.
When Vice had the capacity to look for his benefactor, Norigo Tokura, who lived in Kyoto, Japan, at that time, he was not able to locate her because that address was no longer a residential area.
