Robin Padilla Breaks Silence on Aljur–AJ Children Reveal
ROBIN PADILLA – Senator and veteran actor Robin Padilla has finally addressed the buzz surrounding Aljur Abrenica and AJ Raval’s growing family, and his reaction took many by surprise.
Robin Padilla recently addressed the buzzing news surrounding Aljur Abrenica and AJ Raval, specifically the revelation that the couple now has three children together. Padilla, however, clarified that he was not immediately aware of the matter and emphasised that such developments no longer surprise him.
“Wala ako alam sa ganyan. Pero hindi na ako nabibigla sa ganyan. Hindi na ‘yan kabigla-bigla sa panahon ngayon,” he said during an interview following his contract signing with Viva Films in Pasig City on Friday. Abrenica remains publicly linked to Padilla as the estranged husband of his daughter, actress Kylie Padilla.
While Robin chose not to delve deeply into the issue, he discreetly assured that there is no tension between the families. When asked for a reaction, he responded by pointing out that it is Kylie who is in the rightful position to address the matter. “Ano, re-react ko ba dapat? Dapat si Kylie,” he remarked, adding that he sees no conflict involving his daughter and Abrenica. “Wala naman ako nasasabi. Maayos sila, hindi sila nag-aaway. Alam ko lumalabas sila na pamilya.”
Displaying his characteristic straightforwardness, the iconic action star extended his well-wishes to Abrenica despite the ongoing public scrutiny. Highlighting the responsibilities that come with parenthood, he said, “Good luck. Magsipag ka lalo dahil marami ka nang anak. Iba na… Wala naman ako masasabi kundi good luck sa lahat.”
Robin also opened up about his relationship with Kylie, describing her as independent and capable of handling her own personal affairs. According to him, his daughter has grown into a resilient woman and a devoted mother who rarely gives him reason to worry. “Matanda na kasi si Kylie, lumaki independent. Mabuting ina, masipag. Hindi ko na siya inaalala sa mga ganyang usapin. Mahal na mahal kita, anak,” he said.
Through his brief yet heartfelt statements, Robin Padilla made it clear that he respects Kylie’s autonomy, maintains peace with Abrenica, and hopes for the best for everyone involved.
