Here are the details about the evening gown of Ahtisa Manalo at the preliminaries of Miss Universe 2025.
MUPH 2025 Ahtisa Manalo was stunning and radiant in her evening gown during the preliminaries of Miss Universe 2025.
During the Miss Universe 2025 National Costume competition, Ahtisa Manalo donned a “Festejada: Queen of Philippine Festivals” national gown designed by Mak Tumang. She was stunning, and she carried the Philippines’ culture and tradition with her. Filipino faith, community, and creativity are expressed by the gown – a seamless and meaningful blend of tradition, culture, and grace.
After the national costume competition, the Miss Universe 2025 preliminary competition followed, and Ahtisa performed as if it were already the grand finals. She wore “Pinctada,” which was designed by renowned Filipino couturier Mak Tumang and styled by Patty Yap.
The competition was held at Hall 2 of Impact Challenger in Nonthaburi. This was where the national costume competition was held, and the grand coronation will be held.
About the “Pinctada” evening gown of Ahtisa
The bejeweled gown is “a gown born from the depths of the sea.” It is covered with shimmering sequins and crystal embellishments, and with each step, she sparkled literally and figuratively.
The gown had a cascading gold floral appliqués that flowed down the front of the gown and extended along the train. She wore gold pearl earrings, a necklace, and a bracelet for her accessories.
Tumang described the gown as: “A gown born from the depths of the sea. Draped in midnight blue and gilded with gold, it draws inspiration from Pinctada maxima. The silhouette glows with sunburst-like rays, a nod to the iconic Miss Universe crown.”
Ahtisa was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2025 in May, and the international pageant’s grand coronation night is happening on November 21 at the Impact Muong Thong Thani Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
