Kiray Celis talked about her upcoming wedding
Kapuso comedienne Kiray Celis shared that she has “pakiusap” to her “ninong” Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda.
Last April, Kiray shared that she got engaged to her boyfriend, Stephan Estopia. From that, wedding preparations happened. Previously, the comedienne admitted that she thought preparing for a wedding was easy, but she was wrong.
Earlier this month, Kiray shared her prenuptial photos in Japan. In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, the comedienne talked about some details about her wedding.
Kiray Celis shared that one of her godfathers is Vice Ganda. As a “ningnong,” she has pakiusap to the It’s Showtime host.
She shared, “’Ma, hindi ka puwedeng mag-gown ha?” Kiray said that the officiating priest might not continue the wedding ceremony. “Baka po (bawal) kasi Catholic, eh. Just to make sure, kasi si Mama (Vice) nagsu-suit naman tapos half-gown sa ibaba,” she explained.
When asked where the honeymoon would happen, Kiray said that it would be in the luxury resort Amanpulo. She immediately clarified that this is a gift.
Then, she shared that her and Stephan’s wedding budget is just half a million pesos because her “ninongs” and “ninangs” have sponsored their honeymoon.
“Hindi ko pa alam kung ano ang ibibigay nila (ninong/ninang) nakakahiya naman, alangan i-advance na nila o ito po bank account ko,” she laughingly said.
The comedienne did not mention who gifted them the Amanpulo honeymoon, but she slipped when she said that the CEO of Purple Hearts had already given the gift.
Meanwhile, Kiray Celis is also the CEO of her own brand. She has been selling her Skin Vibe and Hot Babe health drinks on TikTok. The comedienne’s business is going well. She shared that she is set to reach 20 brands, but some are not yet released because they are waiting for approval from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
