Fuel Firms to Implement Mixed Oil Price Changes Next Week

FUEL PRICE UPDATE – Mixed oil price changes are expected on Tuesday (November 11, 2025), according to the Department of Energy (DOE).

Motorists should prepare mixed fuel price adjustments next week as global market movements continue to affect local pump prices.

Based on the latest monitoring of international oil trading, diesel and kerosene prices are expected to go up slightly, while gasoline may see a small rollback. Diesel could increase by around P0.30 per liter, kerosene by P0.35 per liter, and gasoline may go down by about P0.35 per liter.

However, the DOE explained that this potential decrease in gasoline might not be fully reflected because of oil companies’ operating and premium costs that typically add around P0.30 to P0.40 per liter.

The slight increase in fuel prices is mainly linked to ongoing tensions between Russia and Ukraine. Drone attacks on Russia’s Black Sea Port, a key hub for oil exports, have disrupted supply and pushed up prices.

The United States’ continued sanctions on Russian oil firms have also tightened the global market. On the other hand, expectations of higher production from OPEC and its allies are helping balance prices, preventing bigger increases.

Meanwhile, areas declared under a state of calamity due to Typhoon Tino are expected to maintain stable kerosene and LPG prices for at least 15 days. This measure aims to ease the burden on affected residents while they recover from the typhoon’s impact.

Oil companies usually announce new price adjustments every Monday, to take effect the following day. Last week, fuel firms raised prices by P1.70 per liter for gasoline, P2.70 for diesel, and P2.10 for kerosene.

Although next week’s adjustments are smaller, consumers are advised to remain mindful of their fuel usage as global oil prices continue to move unpredictably due to ongoing supply issues and geopolitical tensions.
