Randy Santiago was asked about the recent issue involving Raymart Santiago
Singer-host Randy Santiago refused to give his reaction to the issue between his brother, actor Raymart Santiago, and Optimum Star Claudine Barretto.
Raymart and Claudine’s breakup was quite controversial. The controversy was recalled just recently after Claudine’s mom Inday Barretto’s interview on the YouTube channel of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz.
Mommy Inday threw accusations against Raymart. Allegedly, the actor mistreated his ex-wife. Raymart denied the allegations against him. Claudine’s mom even posed a warning to actress Jodi Sta Maria, Raymart’s current girlfriend.
Following that rant that Inday Barretto had, Raymart Santiago defended himself through a statement from his legal counsel.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Randy Santiago was asked about the recent issue involving his younger brother.
Randy said that he wanted to speak, but he chose not to because this is a problem between Raymart and Claudine. The singer also said that his younger brother just needed to release a statement, and so he did.
“May mga lawyers siya kaya sila-sila ang nag-uusap. But on our end, yakap lang kami. Eventually magsasalita ‘sila’ ‘yung magkakapatid (Barrettos). Alam mo naman may Marjorie, meron kang Gretchen, eventually they will talk,” Randy said.
However, he said that the Santiago siblings will not speak about the issue. He also said that they are too comfortable with each other’s attitudes, and they know each other very well.
Randy Santiago, on the other hand, said that Raymart Santiago is fine and the whole Santiago family is very supportive. For the singer, it is a matter of who you listen to and who to believe.
The older Santiago admitted that it was painful for them that Raymart was being accused of something he did not do. Randy also asked netizens and fans they just stick with what they know about Raymart.
