There is some intrigue surrounding the upcoming movie of Ivana Alawi
The camp of Kapamilya actress Ivana Alawi denied that Bacolod City Lone District Congressman Albie Benitez is the producer of her Metro Manila Film Festival 2025 entry.
Ivana is one of the lead stars in the MMFF 2025 entry “Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins” with Kapamilya actor Richard Gutierrez. Previously, the actor even shared how excited he was to work with Ivana because this was their first project together.
However, a rumor surfaced just recently that there was a delay in the movie shoot, and allegedly, this was caused by Ivana. Because of this, the movie shoot is still unfinished until now, based on the source’s claim.

It was said that the actress seemed to be unbothered by this because, allegedly, the producer of the movie is her rumored boyfriend.
The production has reportedly been having problems lately. The director, production staff, and Ivana’s co-stars are reportedly frustrated.
Based on the article by entertainment reporter Rose Garcia in Abante Entertainment, they asked Ivana Alawi’s management regarding the issue against the actress.
“So, we asked Ivana’s management, PPL Entertainment, Inc., and Perry Lansigan answered with a smile,” the entertainment reporter said. The answer of talent manager to this was, “Dedma, that’s not true!” Ivana’s handler, Paolo Luciano, also replied and laughed and said, “Not true, everyone!”
Garcia also pointed out another factor debunking the rumor about Ivana. It was said that the movie’s producer is Regal Entertainment, Inc., which is not the production company owned by Albee Benitez.

With this, the entertainment writer said that it is really strange to point out that the politician is the producer of the movie.
Then, Garcia shared a piece of her mind regarding what could be the cause of the delay. For her, Ivana Alawi might have had a medical emergency for a few days, and she was allowed by producer Roselle Monteverde to step out of the shoot.
Then, the entertainment writer said that “Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins” is already in post-production.
