Xian Lim talked about this phase in his acting career
Actor Xian Lim admitted that there was a time when he lost a project and received scolding on set.
Xian has spent many years in the entertainment industry. Aside from acting, he also had hosting stints. In recent years, he ventured into directing.
Just like many showbiz personalities, Xian also had ups and downs. As an actor, he also went through tough times, and he shared about this in a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera.
Xian Lim also experienced being yelled at, scolded, and fired from a project because he couldn’t deliver on what was expected of him as an actor.
The actor made this revelation during the media at the storycon and cast reveal for the Viva One and Cignal Play series Project Loki.
The series is from the hit Wattpad webtoon detective series starring Marco Gallo, Jayda Avanzado, and Dylan Menor, which will be directed by Xian.
Also joining the cast are newcomers and aspiring actors Yumi Garcia, Martin Vinegas, Joanna Lara, Love Yauco, Michael Keith, M Drew, Kent Domingo, Iven Lim, Ashley Diaz, and Kurt delos Reyes.
This project served as Xian’s comeback project as a director after being busy with several personal matters, including his piloting career. The actor-director took a break for a while to study.
During the mediacon, Xian Lim was also asked what he loves to do the most, acting or directing? He admitted that it was difficult to choose.
“Napakahirap ng tanong. Mahirap kasi i-compare at sabihin na one is better than the other. But what I could say is I feel at home…I feel my heart is at its happiest every time I am behind the camera,” he said.
Xian Lim also said that he wants to impart to the younger cast members what he learned in the entertainment industry over the years.
