Discaya Luxury Cars Will Be Auctioned Off Starting November 15

Some of the luxury cars owned by the Discaya couple will be auctioned off.

DISCAYA LUXURY CARS – 13 luxury cars owned by Sarah and Curlee Discaya will be auctioned to the public, according to the Bureau of Customs.

Based on Julius Babao’s YouTube channel, during his interview with Sarah and Curlee Discaya, a fleet of luxury cars owned by the couple consisted of 40. Most of the units have seven digits in their prices and are imported. Some were confiscated by the Bureau of Customs (Bureau of Customs), and it was then discovered that the vehicles had missing documents, “which now gives them the right to auction off” the cars.

Independent Commission for Infrastructure Executive Director Brian Keith Hosaka said that BOC Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno informed them about the lack of documents.

By November 15, the auction will start, and Nepomuceno shared that a “competitive” and “transparent” bidding of the luxury vehicles will be conducted. The BOC chief said, “Ang minimum na pwedeng kitahin ng pamahalaan sa proceeds ng bidding ay should be a minimum of P200 to 220 million.”

Previously, Nepomuceno revealed that seven vehicles have no Import Entry and no Certificate of Payment. The six others possess Import Entry documents but either lack a Certificate of Payment (COP) or have one with questionable validity.

It was also found out that 13 cars have unpaid taxes that cost around PHP 100 million.

The issued Warrant of Seizure and Detention covered vehicles: Toyota Tundra, Toyota Sequoia, Mercedes-Benz G 500, Lincoln Navigator 2021, Bentley Bentayga, Lincoln Navigator 2024, Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Mercedes-Benz AMG G63 AMG SUV, GMC Yukon Denali, Cadillac Escalade 2021, Maserati Levante Modena, GMC Yukon XL Denali, and Cadillac Escalade ESV.
