Wilma Doesnt said that she did not pay to be featured on Julius Babao’s YT Channel
Actress Wilma Doesnt jokingly said that she doesn’t have P10 million to pay to veteran journalist Julius Babao to be featured on his YouTube channel.
On Julius’s channel, he would feature celebrities and certain personalities who would share their life stories. In a recent interview in Morly Alinio’s latest vlog, “Ito ang Tondo” on YouTube, he interviewed the actress and businesswoman.
One of the people they talked about was content creator Julius Babao, who is currently on leave from his TV5 program due to his controversial interview with the couple Curlee and Sarah Discaya.
To recall, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto called out Julius, as well as Korina Sanchez, because of the vlog feature they did with the Discayas, who were accused of being involved in the anomalous flood control projects.
Allegedly, the journalists received millions of pesos for that vlog feature. In Julius’s vlog, he even featured the luxury cars owned by the Discaya couple.
With this, Morly asked Wilma about being interviewed by Julius. “Uy, na-interview din ako ni Julius, hindi ako nagbayad! Wala akong 10 million! Ha-hahaha!” the actress jokingly said.
Then the actress said that she just fed Julius with her crispy pata saka tuna panga. The journalist featured the famous five-star karinderya business of Wilma Doesnt.
When Morly asked if Wilma did not pay anything to Julius, she said that she did not pay to vloggers who interviewed her and featured her business, even the one on which she was featured on Netflix.
“Kung baga ang sa akin ‘yung platform n’yo ginagamit n’yo papakainin ko kayo in exchange sa ibinigay ninyo sa aking promotion, tama naman ako?” the actress-busineswoman said.
When Morly mentioned that it was just because of friendship, Wilma answered, “Naman! Pero sampung milyon, wala ako no’n! Ha-hahahaha!”
Then Morly asked her if she thinks Julius was asking for payment for vlog features, Wilma said that she can’t judge because she has known Julius and he is her personal friend since she was just a newbie in the Kapamilya network.
“Ang taong, alam mong gumagawa ng mali at pangit sa panlabas makikita mo ‘yan. Hindi mo makikita si Julius Babao na nakaporma, of course kapag nagnu-news siya (anchor sa News5) ‘yun ang requirement,” Wilma Doesnt said, adding this is different when Julius is doing his vlogs.
