Raymart Santiago Claps Back To The Allegations Of Inday Barretto

Here’s the reaction of Raymart Santiago to the allegations.

Actor Raymart Santiago denies the allegations of Claudine Barretto’s mother, Inday Barretto, who made the claims in an interview.

Through his legal team, Atty. Howard Calleja and Atty. Katrin Jessica Distor-Guinigundo, Raymart Santiago issued a statement denying all of Inday Barretto’s allegations. In an itnerview with Ogie Diaz, Inday, Claudine Barretto’s mother, revealed the hardships her daughter went through while Santiago was still her husband.

“You married my daughter because she was Claudine Barretto, you dropped her when she stop being a Claudine Barretto because what you did to her because you stop when she is being one.”

According to her claims, Claudine suffered emotional and physical abuse and was treated like an animal, while he was being treated like a family by their family. He did unimaginable things, which were among the reasons behind the VAWC (Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004) case filed by Claudine against Raymart.

In a statement, the actor reacted and expressed that the allegations were “untruthful and slanderous.”

He asserted that he has become a part of a campaign of “trial by publicity” by Inday and Claudine to damage the actor’s reputation. Raymart’s team revealed that the root of the conflict is a conjugal property (land) that Claudine supposedly sold three years ago without Raymart’s knowledge or consent.

In the same statement, a reminder was set about the gag order issued by the Family Court Branch 5 of Mandaluyong City that Raymart has since been abiding by.

The statement added:

“It is his hope that Ms. Claudine, her family, and agents would do the same, out of respect for the courts of justice and more importantly, for the sake of their children. Finally, let this be a final warning that any utterances in contravention of the law shall be dealt with before the appropriate forum to protect our client’s rights and to preserve his interests.”
