Is it true that Bong Revilla had a meeting with Boying Remulla?
Actor-politician Bong Revilla allegedly did this amid the recent corruption accusation against him which is connected to the anomalous flood control projects.
To recall, former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Bulacan district engineer Henry Alcantara mentioned during the Senate inquiry on anomalous flood control projects that Revilla received P300 million insertion in 2024.
Then, Revilla’s old photos with Alcantara visiting the flood control project site in Bulacan resurfaced online. The actor-politician also had a meeting with contractors Curlee and Sarah Discaya in the past. Based on the photo that surfaced online, the meeting happened at his Senate office.

Bong Revilla denied the allegations against him. He stressed that he had nothing to do with the corruption issue.
Amid the corruption allegations against the former Senator, he was seen attending an event using a walker. With this, netizens commented that Revilla used the usual scenario when a politician is being involved in a controversy or issue.

Another allegation against Revilla surfaced on social media. On Reddit, under r/cavite, a netizen shared that allegedly, Ombudsman Boying Remulla had a private meeting with Revilla at Wack-Wack country club.
Then, the netizen shared this allegation: “Trade off: Incumbent Governor sa Cavite anak ni Boying. Incumbent Vice Governor anak ni budots. Ayon sa tsaa, protektado si Senator sa flood control at ghost project cases basta wag labanan ng mga Revilla ang mga Remulla next 2028.”

As of this writing, this allegation from the netizen is not yet confirmed. In the comment section of the post on r/ChikaPH, netizens attacked Bong Revilla. Here are some comments.

It was stated in Sec. 15, R.A. No. 6770 that the Ombudsman’s main duty is to “give priority to complaints filed against high ranking government officials and/or those occupying supervisory positions, complaints involving grave offenses as well as complaints involving large sums of money and/or properties.”
