Tropical Storm Ramil to Bring Heavy Rains Over Parts of PH  

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Saturday (October 18, 2025)

PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that Tropical Storm Ramil will bring rains over parts of the country.  

On Saturday (October 18, 2025), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration reported that Tropical Cyclone Ramil has intensified, with Signal No. 2 raised over three areas.  

Ramil has maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 80 kph. It is moving westward at 20 kph.

  • Mountain Province 
  • Ifugao 
  • Benguet 
  • Ilocos Norte 
  • Ilocos Sur 
  • La Union 
  • Pangasinan  
  • Aurora 
  • Nueva Ecija 
  • the eastern portion of Bulacan (Doña Remedios Trinidad, Norzagaray, San Miguel, San Ildefonso, San Rafael, Angat) 
  • the eastern portion of Tarlac (Camiling, San Clemente, Santa Ignacia, Paniqui, Moncada, San Manuel, Anao, Ramos, Pura, Victoria, City of Tarlac, La Paz, Concepcion, Gerona) 
  • the eastern portion of Pampanga (Magalang, Arayat, Candaba) 
  • the northern and eastern portions of Quezon including Polillo Islands 
  • Camarines Norte 
  • the rest of Camarines Sur 
  • Albay 
  • Sorsogon 
  • Burias Island 
  • Ticao Island

The tropical cyclone is expected to make landfall or pass close to Catanduanes on Saturday afternoon or evening. Ramil may also hit Aurora or Isabela on Sunday (October 19, 2025).

The weather disturbance is set to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Monday morning (October 20).  

The weather agency advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.
