Here’s what Sofia Andres shared about her new project.

Actress Sofia Andres is part of the series “The Alibi,” and here’s what she shared about her antagonistic role in this project.

Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino are set to heat up the screens again with mystery and passion through their new series called “The Alibi.” This is set to premiere on November 7 on Prime Video.

The story is about revenge, survival, corruption, family, and betrayal. This is co-directed by Onat Diaz, Jojo Saguin, and FM Reyes. This is the fourth project of Chiu and Avelino after “Linlang,” the Philippine adaptation of “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim,” and the film “My Love Will Make You Disappear.”

If there are protagonists, there are also antagonists, and in this series, filling this role is actress Sofia Andres. In a post, Andres shared her thoughts as she played another antagonist role again.

According to her, she feels honored to be part of the series playing the villain that is “powerful, layered, and full of heart.”

She added, “Grateful beyond words for this opportunity to learn, grow, and challenge myself in a role that’s far from who I am, yet taught me so much about depth and strength.”

She also said that she is surrounded by incredibly inspiring artists, and working alongside them, seeing their dedication, has been both humbling and motivating for her. It all feels surreal and deeply fulfilling for her.

Every day on set is a reminder to her of how beautiful storytelling is through acting and why she fell in love with acting in the first place.

Other stars joining the series are Robbie Jaworski, Angelina Cruz, Alyanna Angeles, Alma Moreno, PJ Endrinal, Lotlot Bustamante, Ian de Leon, Enzo Osorio, Ayesha Bajeta, Thou Reyes, Marvin Yap, Johaira Omar, Yesh Burce, and Kim Tubiano.
