Mother Earns Praises Online for Teaching Her Child What to Do During Earthquake
A mother has gone viral online after a video showed her patiently teaching her young son what to do in case of an earthquake.
Recently, Alatyambamotors, a TikTok user, shared a video showing them conducting an earthquake drill inside their home with their young son. The post quickly went viral and received various reactions online.
The short video earns praise from netizens who admired the mother’s effort to teach safety and preparedness at an early age.

The family, from Tondo, Manila, decided to train their son, Dannel Rae, after a series of earthquakes were recently felt in different parts of the country. Dannel’s father, Kuya Mond, shared that he and his wife wanted their child to understand how to stay calm and safe if an earthquake ever happens while they are apart.
Kuya Mond explained that they wanted their son to be aware of what’s happening around him and to know how to protect himself in dangerous situations. He also encouraged other parents to take time to teach their children similar lessons, emphasizing that earthquake preparedness is not only a family concern but also a community responsibility.
“Gusto lang po namin ng misis ko na maging aware siya sa nangyayari ngayon sa kapaligiran niya … ‘Di naman po natin alam, at walang makakapagsabi, kung kailan darating ang lindol,” he said.
