ABS-CBN actor Daniel Padilla has this response when asked about his rumored relationship with actress Kaila Estrada.
For some months now, “Incognito” stars Daniel Padilla and Kaila Estrada have been romantically linked to each other. People also found their chemistry on television beautiful, which fueled the romance rumors.
Recently, as the rumors still continue to linger online due to a lack of statements from the involved individuals, Padilla was asked about it after some time of silence. In an episode of “Are You G?” hosted by entertainment journalist MJ Felipe, the actor was asked if he is currently in a relationship.
Although the 30-year-old actor did not give a direct answer, he explained that he doesn’t want to feel pressured and chooses to keep his personal life private and away from the spotlight of showbiz and public attention.
He doesn’t want to make things about his private be a showbiz thing, as he is not even putting the matters out there. If there’s something to be revealed, what he wants is for it to be revealed and unfold smoothly – not by force and not because of pressure.
He said, “Lalabas at lalabas, pero ayoko lang na may naghihintay na alam mo ‘yun, huwag na. Hayaan na nating mangyari ang mga mangyayari.”
Padilla added that he doesn’t want to be bugged by the matter and appealed that, for now, people have to let things be. He expressed, “And again, ayoko siyang maging showbiz eh. Well ‘di pa rin naman maiiwasan ‘di ba pero may choice pa rin naman ako, ‘di ba.”
Padilla just turned 30, and if there’s one thing on his bucket list he wants to achieve is that he wants to travel more. Amid the ongoing buzz that also gets louder, Estrada, for her part, has been silent on the rumored romance.
Kaila’s father, John Estrada, has also been asked about his daughter’s rumored relationship.
Estrada, reacting to rumors about Kaila and Daniel, said that it is not his story to tell, but he trusts his daughter. He trusts her judgment and smarts, and as a father, he is confident that his daughter has always been careful in making life decisions.
