Countless Filipinos did not expect the separation of the once-united BBM-Sara tandem. Since she left her post in the Department of Eduation (DepEd) and the Marcos Jr. Cabinet, the Vice President has been throwing tirades against PBBM as well as former House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte previously claimed that the national budget is allegedly controlled by then-House Speaker Martin Romualdez and then-Ako Bicol Partylist Representative Zaldy Co. She recently reiterated her previous claims amid Romualdez and Co being accused of alleged flood control corruption.
According to Duterte, she has long spoken about it but no one was listening to her. She also lamented being allegedly not involved in the big decisions for the country.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte believes that the Philippine government is allegedly “unstable” now amid the flood control mess. Both the Senate and the House of Representatives had a change of leadership as several congressmen and senators are accused of corruption.
Presidential cousin and Leyte Congressman Martin Romualdez resigned from being the House speaker amid the accusation of flood control corruption hurled against him. According to him, he wants the Independent Commission for Infrastructure or ICI to be able to fully and freely implement their mandate to investigate.
