Sylvia Sanchez showed this luxury home in France
Two sources debunked the speculations that veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez and her family owned this luxury home in France.
Sylvia, as well as her family, especially her son actor-politician Arjo Atayde have received criticism after the latter was dragged into the anomalous flood control projects.
Contractors Curlee and Sarah Discaya claimed that Arjo, as the first district congressman of Quezon City, received kickbacks from the flood control projects. The actor-politician denied the accusation against him, but the bashing continues.
Netizens have questioned their properties, their travels abroad, and the luxury items they own.
Just recently, even the luxury house where Sylvia Sanchez stayed in France for the Cannes Film Festival in 2023 is now being questioned. It was a huge house, which served as the temporary resident of Topakk team.
Topakk was Arjo’s movie which was shown at Cannes’ MarchĂ© du Film Fantastic Pavilion. Based on the article in PEP, a source denied the allegation that Sylvia and her family owned the place. It was said that Sylvia just rented the place.
On Saturday, Glenda Garcia, Sylvia’s friend shared a post showing that the luxury house was indeed for rent.
“Ang ganda nitong tinirhan nila Sylvia Sanchez at ang bumubuo ng movie production nila na nirentahan sa #AIRNNB. Hindi nila to pagmamayari, nirentahan lang nila para makatipid kesa mag hotel,” Glenda wrote in the caption of her post.
This post came after a YouTube vlogger compiled Sylvia’s clips while showing the luxury villa. In one of the clips, the veteran actress said, “Eto po yung bahay namin dito sa Cannes. Dito kami nakatira ngayon ng Team Topakk. Eto po yung view namin…”
Her business partner in her productions company, veteran actress Lorna Tolentino was also there. In another clip, Topakk director Richard Somes said, “Ang ganda ng place dito ni Ma’am.”
