Tuesday Vargas talked about the toughest year in her life
Comedienne-singer Tuesday Vargas shared how she was able to survive the lowest part of her life.
Tuesday is one of the well-known comedians of this generation. She would have stand-up comedy shows and comedy shows on TV. However, despite her funny facade, Tuesday went through a dark phase in her life.
In a recent interview on the YouTube channel of veteran broadcaster Karen Davila, the comedienne-singer shared what she went through a couple of years ago.

Tuesday Vargas revealed that two years ago, she was at her lowest point. “I tried to off myself and end everything. It was the lowest I consider because ‘yung presence ng hope wala na siya, parang there’s nothing more I could do,” she shared.
The comedienne lost her smile and her drive to make other people laugh, and that was because of the betrayal she experienced. She was scammed financially.
Tuesday revealed that there was someone who took away a lot of things from her. She was deceived by someone who made her feel a certain way. “Sometimes friends, people I considered friends, they duped me in businesses, investments, all of that,” she said.
Tuesday said that this made her sad the most. She gave her trust to those people, but what she got was betrayal.
“I had money yes, but I had a lot of other things that I was going through, may anak ako na nakaasa sa akin, and for you do that to me knowing full well what hurt me, what pains me,” she shared.

When she was at her lowest, Tuesday Vargas said that her faith did a big thing for her. Tuesday said that at her lowest moment, it was her faith that saved her. She realized that she was never alone when she was about to give up. With that, she became determined again to continue fighting, and she thought that she might have something to do.
“That was one of the few moments in a long time that I heard the Lord na sabi niya: ‘Huwag. Kailangan ka pa ng mundo. Meron pa tayong gagawin,” the comedienne recalled.
Tuesday Vargas also shared that when she saw the faces of her child, her mother, and her fans, she felt regret about giving up. That experience made her braver, and in the midst of her vulnerability, she found her strength to continue moving forward.
