PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Friday (October 3, 2025) 

PAGASA Says Severe Tropical Storm Paolo to Affect PH Weather Condition

PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that severe tropical storm Paolo will bring rains over parts of the country. 

On Friday (October 3, 2025), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. severe tropical storm Paolo will affect the country’s weather condition. 

PAGASA reported that severe tropical storm Paolo was last spotted 150 kilometers east of Casiguran, Aurora, with a maximum sustained wind speed of 100 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 125 kph, moving west-northwest at 20 kph.

  • the central and southern portions of Isabela 
  • the northern portion of Quirino 
  • the northern portion of Nueva Vizcaya 
  • Mountain Province

  • the southeastern portion of Abra 
  • the northern portion of Benguet 
  • the central and southern portions of Ilocos Sur 
  • and the northern portion of La Union

Paolo is expected to make landfall in northern Aurora or southern Isabela this morning. It may intensify into a typhoon once it emerges into the West Philippine Sea. 

It is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Saturday (October 4, 2025). 

The weather agency has advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
