The incident happened around 6:35 a.m. near Colanga Poblacion, close to Montevista Elementary School.
Rhea Abenir, a Facebook user, shared a photo of the accident and elicited various reactions from the public. According to initial details, the motorcyclist had just come from town and was reportedly under the influence of alcohol when the accident occurred.
As he was driving along the road, two dogs suddenly appeared, playing and running in the middle of the street. Unable to avoid them, he crashed into the animals, causing him to be thrown off his motorcycle.
The impact was fatal for one of the dogs, while the other lost consciousness. The driver, on the other hand, was fortunate to escape with only minor scratches. He was immediately given help and is now in stable condition.
