Female Patient Shares Disappointing Experience at Hospital In Bacolod City
A female patient shared her disappointing experience at a hospital in Bacolod City because of disrespectful staff.
Recently, Misai Silva, a Facebook user, posted about her frustrating experience at a hospital in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. The post quickly went viral on social media and drew various reactions online.
The patient, a mother of three and eight weeks pregnant, explained that she was in a high-risk condition. She was already dealing with hypertension and a hemorrhage that placed her baby at risk.

When she experienced pain and spotting on September 29, she rushed to the emergency room of Corazon Locsin Hospital, hoping to receive urgent medical care.
Instead of compassion, she said she encountered disrespect. From the triage nurse questioning why she went to the ER, to the staff allegedly speaking in condescending tones, she felt humiliated and dismissed.
During her checkup, she was scolded loudly over missing details in her test results, which added to her emotional distress. She claimed no ultrasound or proper treatment was given, and she was simply told to go home.

She later learned from her own doctor that her case required immediate admission and urgent medication. This left her even more shaken, realizing that her condition had been downplayed.
The woman also recalled how another pregnant patient, bleeding and in pain, was scolded by staff for not providing a complete address. She described the environment as rude and traumatizing for patients who were already vulnerable.
Her concern escalated further when she tried to leave the hospital to pick up her young children from school. Security guards insisted on a wheelchair, and when she refused after waiting too long, they allegedly shoved and restrained her. The incident left her fearful for both her health and her unborn child.
