Customs Takes Custody of 13 More Luxury Cars Linked to Discayas

The Bureau of Customs take custody of thirteen more luxury vehicles owned by contractors Curlee and Sarah Discaya.

On early Wednesday morning (October 1, 2025), customs take custody of thirteen more luxury vehicles linked to Discayas. The vehicles were moved out of the St. Gerrard Construction compound in Pasig City and transported to the BOC’s facility in the Port Area of Manila.

The transfer began after midnight, with the convoy of vehicles leaving the compound past 1:00 a.m. A strong police presence was seen along the route, ensuring that the operation went smoothly. By 5:27 a.m., the last of the 13 cars had been secured inside the BOC compound.

Authorities said the move was carried out after a warrant of seizure was issued against the vehicles. Police and Customs officials worked closely to ensure both the security of the vehicles and the safety of the operation.

The seizure is part of a bigger case involving the Discaya family. In September, the BOC confirmed that it had already taken custody of 28 luxury cars connected to them. With the latest batch, more of their high-end collection is now officially under government control.

Luxury vehicles often attract attention, they also become a symbol of controversy. The operation has garnered various comments among the public, as many wonder about the circumstances that led to the massive seizure.

For now, the vehicles remain with the Bureau of Customs while investigations continue.
