Heart Evangelista to Take Legal Steps Against Detractors Amid Threats & False Accusations
HEART EVANGELISTA – Kapuso star and fashion icon Heart Evangelista revealed that she is now in talks with her lawyer to pursue cases against individuals and organizations attempting to damage her reputation.
Heart Evangelista announced that she is now coordinating with her lawyer to pursue cyber libel cases against online critics and certain groups she accuses of intentionally damaging her reputation.
During an Instagram live, Evangelista openly spoke about the issue, declaring that it is time to stand up to those who continually attempt to ruin her name. She explained that the attacks have gone beyond personal insults and are now affecting her professional life, especially her endorsement contracts.

The actress shared that although she has long been subjected to bashing, the latest allegations have crossed the line. Some detractors have been questioning her financial independence, claiming her wealth comes from her husband, Senator Chiz Escudero. Evangelista firmly refuted these claims, emphasizing that she has built her career over many years and that her income is the result of her own work and collaborations with brands.
In addition to her legal plans, Evangelista also disclosed that she initially intended to join the Trillion Peso March but backed out after receiving threats. She recounted being warned that she would be stripped if she attended, prompting her to prioritize her safety.
She further revealed that she will skip the upcoming Paris and Milan Fashion Week, clarifying that her appearances abroad are solely financed by her personal earnings from endorsements and not from her husband’s resources.
Despite the controversies, Evangelista continues to receive overwhelming support from her followers, many of whom have expressed their willingness to defend her from defamatory attacks. Her decision to pursue legal action has also been praised, with supporters saying it sets an example for other public figures facing similar online harassment.
Heart Evangelista’s move underscores a crucial step in addressing cyberbullying and defamation, reinforcing the importance of accountability for those who use digital platforms to spread lies and malicious remarks.
