Is it true that Jake Cuenca and Chie Filomeno are no longer together?
Kapamilya actor Jake Cuenca was allegedly so devastated after actress Chie Filomeno left him for a millionaire businessman.
It was in August 2023 when Chie confirmed her relationship with Jake. Before the confirmation, netizens had noticed that the actor became vocal about his admiration for the actress. He would like and comment on Chie’s post.
After the relationship confirmation, the couple opted to have a low-key relationship. They seldom share photos of themselves, but they were visible in some events.
At first, netizens had a perception that Chie was just Jake’s rebound girl. To recall, the actor cried publicly after his breakup with actress Kylie Verzosa. However, Chie stressed that this was not the case.
In an interview last July, Jake Cuenca was asked about getting to the next level of his relationship with Chie Filomeno. He said that there were no wedding plans yet, but he said that Chie possesses the qualities he is looking for in a wife.
He also said that he respected the actress’s decision to reach her dreams before settling down.
Jake and Chie’s relationship status is the subject of the recent Facebook post of social media personality Xian Gaza, who is a self-proclaimed “Pambansang Marites.” Xian claimed that Chie left Jake for Matt Lhuillier, a millionaire businessman from Cebu.
The social media personality claimed that Jake cried hard for this. In the comment section, Xian wrote, “THIS IS KOMPIRMD ILANG ARAW NA DAW IYAK NG IYAK HINDI MALAMAN ANG GAGAWIN WALANG GANA SA LAHAT NG BAGAY ULTIMO PAGTU-TOOTHBRUSH AY HINDI DAW MAGAWA SOBRANG BAHO NA NG KANYANG BUNGANGA JUSKO KAWAWA NAMAN.”
As of this writing, Jake Cuenca and Chie Filomena have yet to release a statement regarding the status of their relationship.
