Chie Filomeno talked about her blooming romance with Jake Cuenca
Kapamilya actress Chie Filomeno is sure that she is not the “rebound girl” actor Jake Cuenca and here is the reason why.
Chie recently confirmed that she and Jake are dating. A few months ago, rumors circulated linking them. It is because of the actor’s visible admiration comments on the actress’s Instagram photos.
In an interview, Chie admitted that she is also admiring Jake. Although the actress admitted that they are dating now, she stressed that they are not rushing things.
Following the dating confirmation, the old video of Chie Filomeno comforting Kylie Verzosa resurfaced online. It was in It’s Showtime and that was after Kylie and Jake’s breakup. The breakup was confirmed in April 2022.
In a recent interview, based on the article Inquirer, Chie was asked if she is not afraid that she might just be Jake’s rebound girl. She said that she is sure the actor will not jump into a relationship if he is not sure about it.
“Jake is already mature enough to know that he should not get into any kind of romantic relationship while he is still not ready and fully committed,” the actress said. Chie added that this is the reason why they are taking their time.
She also said has been private about her love life and this is the first time she shared with the public that she is dating a guy. Chie admitted that she had known Jake for quite a long time now.
She even said that they dated years ago but this did not push through because, at that time, the actor had a lot of things happening in his life. She also said that she was so young. “I think it’s destiny that we reconnected when we saw each other at the recent Christmas Ball of ABS-CBN,” Chie Filomeno said.
The actress also revealed that Jake Cuenca is now more persistent compared to how he was years ago. She added that she feels comfortable around him and she loves how he values his craft.
