Sunshine Cruz denied this rumor about her daughter
Seasoned actress Sunshine Cruz condemned the fake news claiming that she is pregnant.
Sunshine is not new when it comes to issues and controversies in the entertainment industry. With her years in showbiz, she went through ups and downs, but she was able to reach longevity as an actress.
With social media, Sunshine could easily debunk or answer rumors about her, just like what she did recently.
The actress shared a screenshot of a Facebook post from “Entertainment Philstar.” It included an edited photo of her, her daughters, and her boyfriend, businessman Atong Ang. The art card included the text “Ginalaw ni Atong.”
The caption claimed that Atong confessed that he had done something unforgivable to one of Sunshine’s daughters, whom he was supposed to protect.
“Fake news po ang lahat ng ito guys fyi. These accounts are not legit and they make up stories for views,” Sunshine Cruz said in the caption of her post. She also asked the public to report the post or article about this claim.
When the actress reposted this, she stressed that a few weeks ago, a round of fake news about her was shared online. It was claimed that Atong was physically abusing her and that she was pregnant.
Now, the fake news about her daughter circulated. “Surprisingly, marami ang naniniwala na totoo itong mga ganitong klase ng kwento. Kaloka si meta at youtube. Monetized pa ang mga ito kaya padami ng padami ang nagpapakalat ng fake news,” Sunshine Cruz said. She lamented the fact that these creators of fake news are still earning on social media.
Meanwhile, last June, it was said that Sunshine Cruz avoided being asked about Atong Ang. It was because the businessman was accused of being the person behind the missing sabungero case.
The actress obviously did not want to intervene in the issue. However, she is not avoiding mingling with her friends in public amid the recent issue about her boyfriend.
