In one of her recent vlogs, Small Laude mentioned something about the hottest topic in the Philippines these past few months – the corruption issue in flood control projects.

In the vlog, Small was expecting her driver from a robotaxi service in the US. “Ghost driver naman siya. Pero at least, it’s not a ghost project,” she said. Then, the socialite vlogger continued by saying, “I’m paying my taxes properly. Shame on you guys. Kawawa naman ang Pinoy.”

Small received positive comments from netizens, as many agreed with what she said. A netizen even commended her and those who belonged to the “old rich” category for working hard for what they have now.

Saludo talaga sa mga old rich na yumaman through hardwork, hindi galing sa nakaw ang puhunan at hindi politics ang ginawang negosyo. Sila ang tunay na malaking ambag sa pagtulong sa lipunan through their taxes and foundation,” a netizen commented.

Meanwhile, early this year, Small went through a tough time. Her father, Andres Eduardo, passed away. She shared an emotional post about this on her social media page. The socialite vlogger received love and support from her online followers and friends amid this difficult time for her.

Small Laude also had emotional final moments with her father. “My dad waited for me. After one and a half hours, nag-pass on na siya. I really can’t accept that,” she shared.
