Kylie Padilla talked about her “hugot” in her character in ‘My Father’s Wife’
Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla said that when it comes to giving second chances, she is no longer that generous.
Kylie’s career in the entertainment industry continues to flourish. She is now part of the Kapuso Afternoon Prime series My Father’s Wife with Gabby Concepcion, Kazel Kinouchi, and Jak Roberto.
In the series, many viewers have commended her for her performance as Gina, who was cheated on by his husband Gerald, played by Jak.
Kylie Padilla delivered a remarkable performance, especially when her character found out that her husband was having an affair with her stepmother.
During a recent Ask Me Anything segment, based on the article in Bandera, the actress was asked by a fan about how she delivered that specific scenes in the series.
“Feel na feel namin sincere pain mo sa nga recent episodes especially sa confrontation scenes with Jak. Ini-imagine mo ba na si Jak is someone from your past who did you wrong? If you were in Gina’s shoes, bibigyan mo pa ba ng second chance ang mga mahihinang taong katulad ni Gerald (Jak)?” a fan asked.
Kylie Padilla said that she empathized with her character, and she tried to use this empathy to deliver an authentic performance.
However, she never intends to use people when it comes to doing scenes. “I never plan to use people in my scenes, but sometimes my mind does project images in the moment and I use it if I can lalo na if I can deliver a better performance,” she said.
When it comes to giving second chances to other people. “Dahil sa mga pinagdaanan ko in my life medyo kuripot ako sa second chances. So, no,” the Kapuso actress said.
