The Bouncing Checks Law penalizes anyone who issues checks without sufficient funds or without arranging proper payment, as this can cause financial harm to others. Police remind the public to be careful in financial transactions and ensure that issued checks are properly funded to avoid legal consequences.
For the victims, the arrest offers hope that justice will be served. The case also serves as a reminder of the importance of accountability in financial dealings.
With her in custody, authorities say the next step will be turning her over to the proper court to face the charges filed against her.
