Heart Evangelista is a nepo wife?
Ramon Tulfo defends actress and fashion icon Heart Evangelista from her critics, who are saying that she is a “nepo wife.”
If there are nepo babies, people also coined nepo wives, or the wives of politicians and government officials who gained success due to family connections. This term has become widely used nowadays because of the issue regarding the anomalies in flood control projects. People are in rage seeing how the lavish lifestyles of their families were funded, allegedly by the taxpayers’ money.
People online have been dragging Heart Evangelista in the issue. It is no secret that she came from a wealthy clan, and she is also married to Senator Chiz Escudero, the current Senate president.
While the people are abuzz and left speculating about Heart, accusing her of being a nepo wife, one person stood up to defend her. Ramon Tulfo, in a social media post, defended Heart, stressing “Heart is a billionaire in her own right.”
He cited that the fashion icon, aside from her career, is already wealthy, coming from the clan of Ongpaucos. According to him, the Ongpaucos own the Barrio Fiesta chain of restaurants.
Tulfo also emphasized another point, noting that even prior to her marriage to Escudero, Evangelista had already been earning significantly from her successful career as an actress and as a social media influencer. She’s also an effective endorser and currently has several active endorsements.
To back up his statement, he wrote, “I should know; I’m a friend of her uncle Rod Ongpauco.”
Meanwhile, in a previous article, Heart opened up about her two failed surrogacies. This came after her four miscarriages, but this was also an eye-opening incident for her as it made her realize the value of what has already been right in front of her.
