Businesswoman Admires Two Young Boys Selling Yema to Her Store

A businesswoman in Bacolod City has touched many hearts online after sharing the story of two young boys who regularly sell yema candies to her.

Recently, Hannah Lita, a Facebook user, shared a photo of the boys enjoying a simple meal at her pansitan. She shared that the two often drop by her place, either selling yema or sometimes even rags, as part of their daily routine to earn a living.

For more than a year of running her eatery, Hannah has seen the boys almost every day. She said they are determined to work despite their young age, often asking only for a glass of water before heading back to sell more.

Lita admitted that there were times she would give them food, even if the boys would politely refuse at first. She admired their hard work and sense of dignity, saying that despite their situation, they continue to push through each day in an honest way.
