Meet Max, a Priest’s Pet Dog Who Attends Mass in Las Piñas
A priest’s pet dog named max goes viral and has been stealing hearts online for quietly joining a church service in Las Piñas.
A pet dog is a dog that is kept at home and cared for as a companion, not for work or business. People usually keep pet dogs for friendship, fun, and emotional support. They are fed, loved, and treated as part of the family.
Recently, Marielle Manahan, a Facebook user, shared a video of Max calmly walking beside Father Jerson during Mass at the Good Shepherd Parish. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.

Max looked like the most adorable assistant ever, almost like a well-trained altar server, with his calm and respectful behavior.
According to churchgoers, Max is Father Jerson’s pet dog. People were quick to admire how well-behaved Max was, even with the large crowd inside the church. He stayed close to the priest and seemed to know exactly how to act in such a solemn and sacred place.
Many netizens found the scene heartwarming and even called Max a “Banal na Aso.” Others wished all pets could be as disciplined and respectful as Max. Some commented that it would be nice if more churches would allow fur babies to join Mass, especially if they are as well-behaved as him.

There were also reports shared about how Max would sometimes escape from home just to find Father Jerson. Because of this, the priest eventually decided to bring him along to church regularly.
The sweet bond between the priest and his loyal companion touched many hearts.
The dog’s presence at Mass brought joy not only to Father Jerson but also to the entire parish community.
