A lady netizen is seeking help for a young patient who has been confined in a hospital for two months but has yet to undergo surgery.
Recently, Christine Katimpo Esto, a Facebook user, shared a video of a child who has been confined in a hospital for two months without surgery. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
In her post, Esto explained that the patient has been admitted to the provincial hospital for weeks, yet no operation has been carried out due to financial constraints.
According to her, the boy was identified as John Dave Verano, a resident of Barangay Rosal, Libacao, Aklan. His family has been struggling to gather enough funds for his surgery. They have been appealing to the public for financial assistance, saying that even small donations could help them move closer to their goal of saving the child’s life.
For the family, every day that passes without the surgery adds to their worry and emotional burden. The boy’s condition has placed them in a difficult situation, relying on the kindness of others while holding on to hope that their child will finally receive the medical care he urgently needs.
As of this writing, the family continues to ask for assistance, hoping that the generosity of strangers will give John Dave the chance to recover and live a healthy life.
