Traffic Enforcer Files Charges vs Female Driver Who Puts His Life at Risk
A traffic enforcer has filed a case of direct assault against a female driver after a tense incident where he was forced to cling to the hood of her vehicle.
The enforcer, identified as Michael Trajico, stopped the woman after her car reportedly sideswiped a tricycle in Kawit, Cavite. When he tried to approach her, the driver suddenly sped off, leaving him no choice but to jump onto the hood to avoid getting hit.
“Sabi ko ate itigil mo—ate tigil mo. Kaysa naman maipit ang paa ko, sumampa na ako. Tapos tumakbo siya ng matulin,” Trajico said.

It was followed by a frightening 15-minute ride, with Trajico holding on tightly as the vehicle moved through the streets. The incident was caught on CCTV.
Instead of stopping, the driver continued until they reached her home, where Trajico was finally able to get off. When he asked for her license, the driver’s mother refused to hand it over, saying they were already at their residence.
Authorities later found out that the driver is a lawyer and surprised many, including Trajico’s fellow enforcers, who pointed out that someone well-versed in the law should have been the first to respect it.
Police investigators explained that a direct assault case was already filed against the driver. They added that the situation could have been resolved more peacefully if she had simply addressed the violation instead of driving off.
The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has also issued a show cause order, requiring the driver to explain her side. However, police shared that there has been no response so far.
As of this writing, the authorities are hoping this incident serves as a reminder of the importance of road discipline and respect for traffic rules, both for the safety of motorists and those tasked to keep order on the streets.
