Here’s what Nadine Lustre said after receiving her third FAMAS award.
As the award-winning actress of her generation, Nadine Lustre bags another award from FAMAS 2025 for her “Uninvited” performance.
The winners of the 73rd Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards have been named finally and among those who bagged a major award was Nadine Lustre. She won the Best Supporting Actress award for her performance in the film “Uninvited,” where she starred alongside icons Vilma Santos and Aga Muhlach.
She beat out other actresses, such as Isabel Sophie Ng, Eugene Domingo, Alessandra de Rossi, Claudine Barretto, and Mylene Dizon.
This is Lustre’s third win from the said award-giving body. In the span of her career, she won Best Actress awards from the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2019, the FAMAS Award in 2019 and 2023, Gawad Urian Award 2019, Metro Manila Film Festival 2019, and Star Awards for Movies 2024.
Her third FAMAS award was in the Best Supporting Actress category for her film “Uninvited,” an official entry of MMFF 2024. During her acceptance speech, she expressed how grateful she was for being nominated alongside the legends of the industry.
She is dedicating her award to the Mentorque, the production company behind her movie, her family, fans, and VIVA. She also specially mentioned her partner, Christophe Bariou, thanking him for letting her be true and for loving her always.
“Medyo matagal na rin po ako sa industriya pero marami po akong napagdaanang ups and downs. I spent a lot of time and years waiting for the right break,” she recalled. She admitted that there are times when she wanted to give up because it felt like her dreams were impossible to achieve.
“Gusto kong pasalamatan ‘yung sarili ko dahil medyo mahirap din naman po ‘yung pinagdaanan namin. Gusto kong pasalamatan na kahit ano mang mangyari, ginawa ni Nadine lahat ng kaya niya, in all the ways that she can para maabot ‘yung dream na ‘yon,” she said.
