Male Netizen Witnesses Terrifying Gunfight at Checkpoint in Calauag
A male netizen, who was traveling with his child, experienced a horrifying exchange of gunfire at a checkpoint.
Recently, Famshark Vlog, a Facebook user, shared a video of the intense shootout that happened at a checkpoint in Calauag. The post quickly went viral and elicited various reactions online.
In the video, a man could be seen stepping out of a black car and exchanging gunfire with another person riding an SUV. After a few moments, the man in black appeared to join the police officers who were chasing after the SUV driver who fled the scene.
For the father, the situation was overwhelming. With his six-year-old daughter beside him in the car, he could only think about keeping his family safe. He described how his little girl cried in fear while they ducked inside the vehicle, unsure of what might happen next.
The mother, who was driving, tried to remain calm, but the tension was heavy as bullets rang out nearby.
The family had just come from visiting the father’s mother in Guinayangan and were on their way back home to Calauag when the incident unfolded. What began as a cheerful trip filled with laughter quickly turned into a nightmare the moment they reached the checkpoint.
Despite the shootout, the family was unharmed. The father expressed deep gratitude that no stray bullet hit them, saying that the experience was something he would never forget.
