Isko Moreno Slams Cong. Joel Chua For Alleged Illegal Project

Mayor Isko Moreno had this fiery statement against his fellow politician

Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno slammed Manila Third District Representative Joel Chua for an alleged illegal project.

Mayor Isko returned to politics three years after taking a break from politics. He ran for president in the 2022 elections, but unfortunately, he did not win. After that, he returned to doing showbiz projects.

This year, he decided to be in politics again and ran for Manila Mayor for the second time. The people of the capital city of the Philippines once again chose him.

Mayor Isko Moreno has been exposing the supposed “illegalities” he found out. Previously, he showed how he wondered why there were two vaults inside the mayor’s office.

Just recently, based on the article in PEP, a video of the mayor circulated online in which he said, “Tinanong ko ang taumbayan, ang chairman. Ang sabi, project daw ni Congressman Joel Chua. Paano nangyari yon?”

He stressed that it was the property of the City of Manila. It was said that the daycare center and the senior citizens’ office were demolished without the city’s permission.

“And now, we’re doing what we need to do. Tingnan natin kung may masampolan. Yan ang dahilan kung bakit ako nalulungkot. Hindi pa nadala itong mga congressman,” he said.

Mayor Isko stressed that the President has already ordered the investigation of flood control projects that involved congressmen.

Rep. Joel Chua answered the allegation from the Manila mayor. He stressed that the Sentro Komunidad de Santa Cruz is a legal project, and this should not be destroyed for the sake of vlog content.

The Representative also mocked that there was “shooting” in Sta. Cruz the other day. “Bitbit ang kanyang mga vloggers, gumawa na naman ng eksena si Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso. Galit-galitan, nakakunot ang noo, lakad na parang may susugurin, drama-drama sa harap ng mga nag-uusyoso,” Chua said.

He also stressed that Mayor Isko Moreno was lying that the structure was illegal, and that it was funded by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), which was under the General Appropriations Act.
