RR Enriquez Addresses Public Intrusion into Her Relationship
RR ENRIQUEZ – After receiving a wave of speculations and comparisons online, RR Enriquez urged followers to respect her privacy.
Television personality and online influencer RR Enriquez has spoken out against the barrage of negative comments she has been receiving, particularly those targeting her personal life. On Wednesday, August 20, the former host posted screenshots on Instagram showing remarks made by netizens, many of which revolved around her and ex-PBA star Jayjay Helterbrand.
Some of the comments speculated about an alleged breakup, while others expressed disappointment, even suggesting they would unfollow the pair due to the rumored situation.
While RR did not confirm nor deny the circulating assumptions about her relationship, she emphasized the need to address the public’s unnecessary intrusion into her private matters.
“As a Sawsawera Queen who’s been so quiet for almost a year. I know y’all have the right na sumawsaw sa love life ko. Alangan naman ako lang ang sasawsaw…” she wrote in her post.
RR admitted that she was taken aback by how invested people have become in her love life.
“It’s just crazy lang that some people are so INVESTED to know the score between me and JJ. Pati ChatGPT tinanong niyo na [eh] hindi naman kami si KathNiel, JaDine, LizQuen or AlDub but thank you for making me feel na parang ganun na nga ang love team namin…” she continued, even comparing the situation to the country’s biggest love teams.
Toward the end of her message, RR reminded her followers to be more considerate when leaving comments online.
“Please stop harrasing me sa comment section, especially if I am posting someone in my account. Whether it’s true or not, I think it would be better if you stop comparing someone. I’m not pertaining my relationship but to everyone na artista, influencers or kahit sino pa na bakit need i-compare yung bago sa luma?”
Her statement quickly gained support from fans and social media users, with many expressing agreement that celebrities and influencers should be treated with respect and be allowed the same privacy as anyone else when it comes to personal matters.
