2 Bacolod Residents Arrested in Bago City for Alleged Cock Theft
Two Bacolod residents were arrested in Bago City, Negros Occidental, after being accused of stealing a fighting cock.
The incident happened in Purok Pag-unlad, Barangay Ma-ao, where authorities quickly responded following a report about the theft.
The suspects were identified only by their aliases. Emar, a 30-year-old driver from Barangay Singcang, and Noli, a 48-year-old fisherman from Barangay Sum-ag, were both caught after police received information linking them to the alleged crime.

Reports said the stolen cock was loaded into a vehicle, which drew the attention of authorities. The Bago City Police immediately coordinated with nearby community police personnel, who acted swiftly to track the suspects.
During the inspection of their vehicle, authorities not only found the stolen fighting cock but also recovered a caliber .38 revolver with four live rounds of ammunition.
Both men were brought to the Bago City Police Station and are now under custody as investigations continue. Police are also looking into the possibility that the suspects may have been involved in other similar incidents in the area.
