Longtime couple EA Guzman and Shaira Diaz are finally married, and here’s what the actor shared about their first night.
Celebrity couple EA Guzman and Shaira Diaz have been dating since 2013 and got engaged in 2021. In 2024, they revealed their engagement, and on August 14, 2025, they finally tied the knot at St. Benedict Parish in Westgrove Heights, Cavite.
It was a star-studded event graced by talk show host Boy Abunda, Sen. Jinggoy Estrada, news anchor Arnold Clavio, fashion executive Ben Chan, and several GMA Network officers, as among the principal sponsors.
Actors Coco Martin, Rayver Cruz, Rodjun Cruz, Joross Gamboa, Jose Sarasola, and Gerald Anderson stood as groomsmen, while Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Arra San Agustin, and Julia Montes were among the bridesmaids.
Diaz was a stunning bride in her wedding gown created by South Korean designer Choi Jae Hoon. Recently, in an interview as a married couple, the actor recalled the funny thing about their first night.
“Yung pangako ba niya noong sa dambana noong kinasal kayo na ‘magiging masaya ka na mamaya’ (EA), kumusta ka naman?” asked Arnold Clavio.
The actor responded that it was pure bliss, but on the part where they had to do the thing they had waited for more than a decade to do, it did not happen. The actor shared, “Napakasaya, Dyusko po! Pero magiging honest ako pero grabe yung ngiti ko talaga. Pero nung first night, tinulugan ako!”
“It’s a scam!” Diaz followed while laughing, but the actor expressed that it was truly understandable given how much she had done prior to the ceremony.
As a married couple, they now share an unexplainable spark and a unique kind of joy each time they are reminded that they are finally husband and wife. For EA, it was magical, and for Shaira, it was “nakakakilig.”
“’Asawa’ na yung tawag ko talaga so ang sarap-sarap sa pakiramdam,” the TV host-actress even added.
